INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES

Intercept Investigations' business was started in 1997 as a licensed, full service, private investigation agency, holding professional licenses in Nevada, California and Washington.  Utilizing a vast network of employees, agents and subcontractors, we provided most types of general investigative services, as well as many 'specialized' types of service, throughout the United States and worldwide.

Intercept Investigations was incorporated in state of Nevada on February 26, 1997, and possesses a valid Certificate of Incorporation issued by the Nevada Secretary of State's Office.  Intercept Investigations was licensed by the State of Nevada, Office of the Attorney General, Private Investigator's Licensing Board, and was been issued Private Investigator Agency License # 847.

Nevada has the most rigid private investigator licensing requirements in the nation, and requires that any individual or business advertising, soliciting or conducting any type of investigative work anywhere within the state be properly licensed and insured in accordance with Chapter 648 of the Nevada Revised Statutes.

In order to obtain a private investigator's license within Nevada, an applicant must provide proof of a minimum of 10,000 hours of verifiable investigative experience, and must submit to a thorough background investigation that includes civil, criminal, financial and credit history investigations, an FBI fingerprint check, verification of prior employment and personal references, personal and corporate financial statements, and must pass a written exam and oral interview.

In addition to the stringent requirements to obtain a license, Nevada imposes numerous requirements in order to maintain that license.  Chief among these requirements is that every business licensed to perform private investigation work within Nevada must provide to the licensing authority satisfactory proof of liability insurance coverage.

Employees, agents and subcontractors of Intercept Investigations have been recruited from a myriad of backgrounds, including local, state, federal law enforcement and investigations, insurance investigations, private sector investigative fields, as well as other various complimentary fields of employment.  Access to such well-rounded and wide-ranging types of experience allowed Intercept Investigations to provide the level of service, experience and expertise required by even our most demanding clientele.

Although there are no specific state mandated requirements regarding the level of experience that an employee of a licensed private investigator must possess, it has always been the policy of Intercept Investigations to retain only those persons who have successfully demonstrated a level of investigative experience and expertise necessary to undertake an investigation, and perform that investigation with the necessary degree of thoroughness and professionalism to achieve the greatest opportunity for success.

Intercept Investigations has served clients on six continents, and has counted among its clients individuals, small businesses, major corporations, attorneys, insurance companies, and numerous government agencies, as well as many other private investigators worldwide.  In addition to providing professional investigative services throughout those states in which we have held licenses, Intercept Investigations has also provided services throughout the United States and on six continents worldwide utilizing our large network of affiliated agencies.

Intercept Investigations made the decision in June 2007 to discontinue providing investigation services and concentrate solely upon the design, manufacturing and sales of surveillance, telephone, video, audio, tracking, document security, vehicle safety, personal protection, and surveillance countermeasures equipment.  We also continue to provide some specialized consulting services.

Intercept Investigations is still licensed as a private investigation agency, and has empowered the Nevada Attorney General's Office, Private Investigator's Licensing Board, to hold that private investigator's license in abeyance, pending any future decision to resume providing investigation services.

EQUIPMENT SALES

Intercept Investigations sells investigation, surveillance, telephone, video, audio, tracking, document security, vehicle safety, personal protection, and surveillance countermeasures equipment to individuals, small businesses, major corporations, and private investigators worldwide.

After a decade of providing all types of investigation, surveillance, and counter-surveillance equipment, as well as restricted sale equipment to various law enforcement and other government agencies, Intercept Investigations made the decision in June 2007 to discontinue supplying equipment to government agencies and concentrate solely upon private sector sales.

Unlike many other retailers of 'spy shop' equipment, the equipment that we sell is of the highest quality, and many of the items we offer for sale are the same pieces of equipment that were utilized for many tears by our staff investigators.  This first hand experience gives us special insight into the capabilities and limitations of this equipment, and assures our customers that they are purchasing quality equipment that will provide professional results.

Having utilized much of this equipment in actual investigative functions, it also assures that the information that you are provided regarding the capabilities of each piece of equipment is accurate, based upon 'real world' conditions, and not based upon projected performance under ideal laboratory conditions.
